So, did we really need another installment into the Paranormal Activity franchise? Nope! Are we glad we have a third installment and a prequel into the series? Indeed! This horror franchise is all about going back to the basics of filmmaking and scare tactics. Again, the central character is Katie (Chloe Csengery) but this time, we’re taken back to her childhood years. At some point in our lives, most of us would admit to having had an invisible friend right? Well, Katie’s younger sister Kristi (Jessica Tyler Brown) has a supernatural friend named Toby who she has all kinds of fun with – a notion that Dennis (Christopher Nicholas Smith), their mother’s boyfriend, finds rather intriguing. After all, he is a videographer and the thought of capturing “something” on film is tantalizing. In for a scare, some refreshing laughs and a blast from the past (you gotta love seeing VHS tapes)? Well, it’s all right here.
