Taylor Lautner beware: we’ve found a couple of guys with a set of abs that’ll give yours a good run for their money. All jokes aside, Warrior is one of those nitty gritty fighting flicks that’ll appeal to both the guys and the gals. Tommy (Tom Hardy) hasn’t exactly had the rosiest of upbringings as the youngest son of a reformed alcoholic (Nick Nolte) who’s now turned his attention to training boxers. Tommy soon reappears out of the blue and asks his father to train him. Their aim is to snare the grand prize of $5 million dollars that’s on offer at the Sparta mixed-martial arts tournament. Meanwhile, Tommy’s older brother Brendan (Joel Edgerton) who’s been estranged from them both for many years, is a physics teacher who previously engaged in scrap boxing. He and his wife are about to lose their house which motivates Brendan to enter the Sparta tournament as well. Do you see where we’re going with this?
